Declaration of Service
The Oregon Declaration of Service (ODS) is an initiative from the State of Oregon that encourages people to volunteer and serve the community. The ODS is a statewide commitment to volunteerism and service that allows individuals and organizations to pledge their time to help others. There are three types of Oregon Declaration of Service: the Community Service Pledge, the Youth Service Pledge, and the Group Service Pledge. The Community Service Pledge is for individuals who agree to volunteer for at least four hours each month. The Youth Service Pledge is for youth between the ages of 12-18 who agree to volunteer for at least four hours each month. The Group Service Pledge is for organizations or groups of people who commit to volunteering for at least twenty hours each month. All Oregon Declaration of Service pledges are tracked online and the progress of each pledge is monitored by the State of Oregon.

Oregon Process Service by mail must be determined by sending a true copy of the summons and the complaint to the defendant by first-class mail as well as A. certified or registered mail, B. return receipt requested, or C. express mail.
