The Oregon Certificate of Satisfaction of Agricultural Produce Lien (APL-2) is a legal document that is issued by the Oregon Department of Agriculture to formally acknowledge the satisfaction of an Agricultural Produce Lien. The lien is a security interest that is created when a producer provides goods or services to a buyer with the expectation of payment. The APL-2 Certificate of Satisfaction is issued when the buyer has paid for the goods or services in full and the lien has been released. There are two types of Oregon Certificate of Satisfaction of Agricultural Produce Lien (APL-2): 1) Certificate of Satisfaction of Agricultural Produce Lien on an Individual; and 2) Certificate of Satisfaction of Agricultural Produce Lien on a Business. The first type of Certificate of Satisfaction is issued when the lien is satisfied on an individual, and the second type is issued when the lien is satisfied on a business. The Certificate of Satisfaction must be signed and dated by the lien holder, and it must have the lien holder's name, address, and contact information.
