Oregon Order of Assistance (5B) is a program that provides financial assistance to eligible Oregon residents. This program is administered by the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) and consists of five different types of assistance: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANK), SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), Oregon Health Plan (HP), Employment Related Day Care (ERIC), and Transitional Support Services (TSS). TANK provides financial assistance to families to help pay for basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing. SNAP provides food assistance to eligible Oregon residents. HP provides health care coverage to low-income Oregon residents. ERIC helps qualified Oregonians pay for child care costs while they are working or in school. TSS provides assistance to families transitioning from welfare to work.
