Oregon Confidentiality (privacy) Protection for Survivors of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence and Stalking is a set of laws designed to protect the identity and personal information of survivors of interpersonal violence. Oregon Confidentiality (privacy) Protection for Survivors of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence and Stalking includes three types of protection: 1. The Oregon Address Confidentiality Program (ACP): This program allows survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking to create a substitute mailing address for the purpose of receiving mail and other communications. The ACP also provides address confidentiality for survivors of human trafficking. 2. The Oregon Identity Theft Passport: This program allows survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking to obtain a new Oregon driver’s license or state identification card without disclosing their actual address. 3. The Oregon Second Address System (SAS): This program allows survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking to create a substitute address that is used instead of their actual address when communicating with government agencies, such as the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles and the Oregon Judicial Department. All three of these programs are intended to provide survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking with a greater sense of safety and privacy by protecting their identities and personal information.
