Oregon General Judgment of Custody and Parenting Time (3A) is a legal document issued by the court in the state of Oregon to determine and allocate parenting responsibilities to the parents of a minor child. This document outlines the parents’ rights and responsibilities regarding custody, visitation, and decision-making power in regard to the child. It also establishes a parenting plan that outlines the details of the parents’ shared parenting time, including visitation schedules and other important details. There are two main types of Oregon General Judgment of Custody and Parenting Time (3A): Sole Custody and Joint Custody. In Sole Custody, one parent is designated as the primary custodial parent and is given exclusive decision-making authority over the child, while the other parent is granted visitation rights and limited decision-making authority. In Joint Custody, both parents share both physical and legal custody of the child, and both parents have an equal say in decisions regarding the care and upbringing of the child.
