The Oregon Certificate of Document Preparation is a certification from the Oregon State Bar that allows an individual to provide document preparation services to clients in the state of Oregon. This certification is only granted to individuals who have taken and passed the Oregon State Bar-approved Document Preparation Course. The Oregon Certificate of Document Preparation certifies an individual’s knowledge and experience in providing quality document preparation services. There are two types of Oregon Certificate of Document Preparation: Standard Document Preparation and Specialized Document Preparation. Standard Document Preparation covers the basics of document preparation, such as preparing legal documents, drafting pleadings, and filing documents with the court. Specialized Document Preparation addresses more advanced document preparation topics such as preparing tax-related documents, conducting research, and managing client information.
