Oregon Notice of Statutory Restraining Order Preventing the Dissipation of Assets in Domestic Relations Actions is a legal document issued by the court to protect the assets of a couple involved in a domestic relations action. This document is used to prevent either party from disposing of, transferring, encumbering, or otherwise dissipating marital assets while the action is ongoing. The order is served on both parties and all creditors who have claims against either party. There are two types of Oregon Notice of Statutory Restraining Order Preventing the Dissipation of Assets in Domestic Relations Actions: Pre-Judgment Orders and Post-Judgment Orders. Pre-Judgment Orders are issued to protect assets from dissipation prior to entry of a judgment in the case. Post-Judgment Orders are issued after the entry of a judgment in the case and are used to protect assets from dissipation or to provide for enforcement of the judgment. Both types of orders require the parties to provide written notice to the other of any dispositions of assets and to obtain court approval prior to disposing of any assets.
