The Oregon Certificate re: Pending Child Support Proceedings and/or Existing Child Support Orders/Judgments is a document provided by the Oregon Department of Human Services, which serves as a notice to employers of any existing or pending child support orders or judgments that an employee may have. This certificate informs employers of the employee's obligation to pay child support, as per the court order, and provides the employer with information on how to make the payments. The document includes the employee's name, address, Social Security Number, and the court order number. There are two types of Oregon Certificates re: Pending Child Support Proceedings and/or Existing Child Support Orders/Judgments: Type A and Type B. Type A is issued when a court order for support has been entered or when a motion to modify or enforce an existing order has been filed. Type B is issued when a court order for support has been entered and when a motion to modify or enforce an existing order has not been filed. Both types of certificates provide employers with the same basic information and are used to ensure that employers are aware of their employee's obligation to pay child support.
