Oregon Worker Request for Claim Classification Review is a process in which an employee can request a review of their job classification if they feel they have been improperly classified. This process is regulated by the Oregon Department of Employment, which is part of the Oregon Employment Department. The request must include documentation of the job duties and responsibilities, as well as any wage rate or job title changes. There are two types of Oregon Worker Request for Claim Classification Review: 1. Initial Review: This review is conducted to determine if the job duties and responsibilities are consistent with the job classification listed in the Oregon Occupational Information System (IS). 2. Appeal Review: This review is conducted when an employee disagrees with the initial review decision and wishes to appeal the decision. The appeal must be filed within 30 days of the initial review decision.
