Oregon Surface — Unauthorized Use refers to the unlawful act of utilizing Oregon's surface lands, such as state parks, forests, wildlife areas, and other public properties, without proper authorization or permission. This activity is strictly prohibited under the state laws and regulations. Unauthorized Use of Oregon Surface can take various forms, including but not limited to: 1. Trespassing on State Land: This involves entering and utilizing public lands without the necessary permits, licenses, or legal rights. Examples include camping, hiking, hunting, or fishing without the required authorization. 2. Vandalism and Property Damage: Any intentional or reckless damage caused to the state's surface lands, facilities, infrastructure, or natural resources without lawful permission, such as defacing park structures, damaging trails, or altering natural habitats. 3. Unauthorized Logging or Harvesting: Engaging in logging, timber harvesting, or extracting resources from public lands without obtaining proper permits or adhering to the state forestry regulations. 4. Off-road Vehicle (OR) Misuse: Operating off-road vehicles, such as ATVs or dirt bikes, outside designated areas or in prohibited zones on public lands. This may include creating unauthorized trails, damaging vegetation, or disturbing wildlife habitats. 5. Non-permitted Events or Gatherings: Organizing or participating in events, festivals, or large gathering activities on state lands without securing the required permits and permissions from the relevant authorities. 6.
