Pennsylvania Solicitation Notice is a legal document issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to individuals and organizations that are required to register with the state government before engaging in certain activities related to fundraising, charity, and other solicitations. The Notice informs the public of the registration requirements, and provides information about the charity and/or organization seeking donations or other support. The Notice also includes a statement of the organization’s purpose, a description of the solicitation activities, and a contact person or organization for further information. There are two main types of Pennsylvania Solicitation Notice: (1) Professional Fundraising Solicitation Notice, and (2) Charitable Organization Solicitation Notice. The Professional Fundraising Solicitation Notice is issued to a professional fundraising organization that is required to register with the state prior to engaging in fundraising activities. The Charitable Organization Solicitation Notice is issued to a charitable organization that is required to register with the state prior to engaging in solicitation activities.
