Pennsylvania Requesting Audit, Review or Compilation Waiver is a form that allows a company to request an exemption from an audit, review or compilation of its financial statements. The waiver must be approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DIED). There are three types of waivers that can be requested: Audit Waiver, Review Waiver and Compilation Waiver. An Audit Waiver is a waiver that allows a company to request exemption from an audit of their financial statements. This is the most comprehensive type of waiver and is typically required for companies that are publicly traded or have more than $500,000 in assets. A Review Waiver is a waiver that allows a company to request exemption from a review of their financial statements. This type of waiver is typically requested by companies that have less than $500,000 in assets or are privately held. A Compilation Waiver is a waiver that allows a company to request exemption from a compilation of their financial statements. This type of waiver is typically requested by companies that are privately held, have fewer than 25 employees and have less than $500,000 in assets.
