The Pennsylvania Certificate of Dissolution Domestic General Partnership is a legal document used to dissolve a partnership that has been formed under Pennsylvania law. It is a formal document which must be signed by all the general partners. It must be filed with the Pennsylvania Department of State in order to officially dissolve the partnership. There are two types of Pennsylvania Certificate of Dissolution Domestic General Partnership. The first type is a “Voluntary Dissolution” which is used when the partnership is dissolved voluntarily by the partners. The second type is a “Court-Ordered Dissolution” which is used when the partnership is dissolved due to a court order. Both types must be filed with the Pennsylvania Department of State in order to be valid.
