Pennsylvania UCC-11 Information Request (National) is a service provided by the Pennsylvania Department of State to allow individuals to request a copy of a UCC-11 filing, which is a financing statement that is filed in the National UCC System. The UCC-11 filing is a legal document used to document the existence of a security interest in personal property. There are two types of Pennsylvania UCC-11 Information Request (National): a single-party request and a cross-party request. A single-party request is when an individual requests information about a UCC-11 filing that they have filed, while a cross-party request is when an individual requests information about a UCC-11 filing that has been filed by another party. Both types of requests require the filer to provide the Pennsylvania Department of State with the UCC-11 filing number, and the name of the debtor, the secured party, and the filing date.
