The Pennsylvania Statement of Domestication [DSC:15-375] is a legal document that is filed with the Pennsylvania Department of State Corporations Bureau (DSC) when a business entity is changing its jurisdiction from another state to Pennsylvania. This document must include the name of the existing business entity, its current state of formation, the state to which the business entity is being domesticated, and the name of the registered agent in Pennsylvania. Additionally, it must be signed by an officer of the business entity and be notarized. There are two types of Pennsylvania Statement of Domestication [DSC:15-375]: Non-Profit and For-Profit. The Non-Profit version is for organizations that are registered as non-profit entities in another state and are seeking to register as a non-profit entity in Pennsylvania. The For-Profit version is for organizations that are registered as for-profit entities in another state and are seeking to register as a for-profit entity in Pennsylvania.
