The Pennsylvania Statement of Pro Se Debtor(s) is a document that must be completed by debtors who are representing themselves in bankruptcy proceedings in the state of Pennsylvania. It is a statement of essential information that the court needs in order to process the bankruptcy case. This includes the debtor's name, address, Social Security number, income and expenses, assets and liabilities, and any other pertinent information. Depending on the type of bankruptcy being filed, there are two types of Pennsylvania Statement of Pro Se Debtor(s): Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. The Chapter 7 Statement of Pro Se Debtor(s) must be completed if the debtor is filing for a liquidation bankruptcy, while the Chapter 13 Statement of Pro Se Debtor(s) must be completed if the debtor is filing for a reorganization bankruptcy. Both documents must be signed by the debtor and filed with the court in order to proceed with the bankruptcy case.
