Pennsylvania Reconfirmation Certification (by Counsel) is a legal process required for individuals seeking to enter into a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in the state of Pennsylvania. This process requires that a debtor’s attorney provide a certification to the court that they have reviewed all the debtor’s financial documents, discussed the debtor’s financial situation with them in detail, and ensured that the debtor is fully informed about the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy process. There are two types of Pennsylvania Reconfirmation Certification (by Counsel): Full Reconfirmation Certification and Limited Reconfirmation Certification. Full Reconfirmation Certification requires that the attorney certify that the debtor has reviewed all the documents and information related to the bankruptcy, discussed the process in detail with the debtor, and reviewed all proposed plans with the debtor. Limited Reconfirmation Certification requires that the attorney certify that they have reviewed all the documents and information related to the bankruptcy, discussed the process in detail with the debtor, and reviewed the proposed plan of reorganization with the debtor.
