Pennsylvania Local Bankruptcy Form 4003-1, Notice of Objection to Claim of Exemption and Hearing Date, is a form used by creditors in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to object to a debtor's claim of exemptions. This form must be filed by the creditor in order to dispute the debtor's claim of exemptions. This form is required for creditors to protect their interests in the bankruptcy case. There are two types of Pennsylvania Local Bankruptcy Form 4003-1, Notice of Objection to Claim of Exemption and Hearing Date: Form 4003-1A, which is used to object to a debtor's claim of exemptions for real estate; and Form 4003-1B, which is used to object to a debtor's claim of exemptions for personal property. Both forms require creditors to provide detailed information about the debtor's claim of exemptions and the creditor's objections, including the value of the property involved, the type of exemption claimed by the debtor, and the date and time of the hearing.
