Pennsylvania What and When? (PAW) is a unique game that combines elements of trivia and luck. Players start with a 10-question trivia round, and then they try to guess the year of a historical event or person based on the clues provided on the card. The goal is to collect the most points before the game ends. The game is suitable for ages 10 and up, and two to five players can play. The game consists of two types of cards: trivia cards and year cards. The trivia cards contain 10 multiple-choice questions about Pennsylvania history, geography, and culture. The year cards feature clues about a person or event related to Pennsylvania history. Players must use the clues to identify the year the person or event occurred. Players score points for correct answers in both rounds. In the trivia round, players get one point for each correct answer, but they lose one point for each incorrect answer. In the year round, players get three points for correctly guessing the year, but they lose three points for incorrectly guessing the year. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
