A Pennsylvania Writ of Execution and or Attachment is a court order issued by a judge to enforce a court judgment or money award. A Writ of Execution allows a court to order the seizure of assets from a party who has failed to pay a court-ordered debt. An Attachment is a court order to attach the assets of a debtor in order to secure payment of a debt. This includes the seizure of real and personal property, such as cars, boats, furniture and other items. The Writ of Execution must be served on the debtor by a sheriff or constable. A Writ of Attachment is a court order to attach the assets of a debtor in order to secure payment of a debt. This includes the attachment of bank accounts, wages, and other assets.
