Pennsylvania Certification of Motor Vehicle Judgment is a form used by courts to certify a judgment against a motorist for non-payment of motor vehicle-related fines. This form is used to provide proof of a judgment entered by the court against a motorist, and is issued by the court to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (Penn DOT). There are two types of Pennsylvania Certification of Motor Vehicle Judgment: a Judgment Certification and a Lien Certification. The Judgment Certification is used to certify a judgment against a motorist for non-payment of fines or fees related to a motor vehicle. The Lien Certification is used to certify a lien against a motorist for non-payment of fines or fees related to a motor vehicle. Both forms must be signed by the clerk of the court and must include the case number, the name and address of the motorist, the amount of the judgment or lien, and the court in which the judgment or lien was entered.
