A Pennsylvania Writ of Execution Notice is a legal document issued by a court in Pennsylvania to initiate the collection of a debt from a debtor. The Writ instructs a sheriff or constable to seize the debtor’s property in order to satisfy the debt. There are three different types of Pennsylvania Writ of Execution Notice: a Writ of Execution on Real Property, a Writ of Execution on Personal Property, and a Writ of Execution on Wages. A Writ of Execution on Real Property allows the sheriff or constable to seize and sell real estate belonging to the debtor in order to pay the debt. A Writ of Execution on Personal Property allows the sheriff or constable to seize and sell personal property such as cars, jewelry, or furniture belonging to the debtor. A Writ of Execution on Wages allows the sheriff or constable to garnish the debtor’s wages and take a portion of their salary each month to repay the debt.
