The Pennsylvania Supersedes Affidavit — Non-SectioTenantsnt is an affidavit used in Pennsylvania to prevent a landlord from evicting a tenant without a court order. It is used to prevent a landlord from collecting rent and other charges from a tenant prior to a court order authorizing the landlord to do so. The affidavit is typically filed in court after a tenant has been served with a notice of eviction. There are two types of Pennsylvania Supersedes Affidavit — Non-SectioTenantsnt: 1) the Tenant Agreement Affidavit, and 2) the Tenant Representation Affidavit. The Tenant Agreement Affidavit is used when the tenant agrees to the terms of the eviction notice and is signed by both the tenant and landlord. The Tenant Representation Affidavit is used when the tenant is represented by an attorney and is signed by the attorney on the tenant’s behalf. Both affidavits must be filed with the court in order for the eviction process to continue.
