Pennsylvania Objections — Affidavit of Service is a legal document that is filed in a Pennsylvania court when a party disputes the validity of service of a legal document. The affidavit must contain sworn testimony that the service was not done correctly and provide sufficient evidence to support the objection of service. There are three types of Pennsylvania Objections — Affidavit of Service: Lack of Personal Service, Lack of Substitute Service, and Lack of Constructive Service. For Lack of Personal Service, the affidavit must demonstrate that the person attempting to serve the document was not present when the document was served. For Lack of Substitute Service, the affidavit must demonstrate that the document was not left with an appropriate person at the party's residence or place of business. For Lack of Constructive Service, the affidavit must demonstrate that the document was not published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the party resides.
