The Pennsylvania Application for Continuance (PAC) is an official form issued by the Pennsylvania Department of State. It is used by individuals and corporations to request a continuation of their Pennsylvania business entity for an additional year. The PAC allows entities to remain in good standing with the state and to continue to conduct business activities. The three types of Pennsylvania Application for Continuance are: Corporation PAC, Limited Liability Company PAC, and Non-Profit Corporation PAC. The Corporation PAC is used for all business entities registered as a corporation in Pennsylvania. The Limited Liability Company PAC is used for all business entities registered as a limited liability company. The Non-Profit Corporation PAC is used for all business entities registered as a non-profit corporation in Pennsylvania. The PAC must be filed online with the Pennsylvania Department of State and requires basic information about the entity, including its name, address, and contact information. Once the application is submitted, the appropriate filing fee must be paid. Upon approval of the application, the entity will be given a Certificate of Continuance, which grants the entity the right to continue to conduct business activities for another year.
