The Pennsylvania Request for Panel of Neutral Interest Arbitrators (RFP NIA) is a document used to initiate the selection of neutral arbitrators in the State of Pennsylvania. It is used by parties to a dispute in order to obtain impartial and unbiased arbitration services. The RFP NIA is used to obtain a list of qualified arbitrators from the Pennsylvania State Bureau of Mediation along with their credentials. The Bureau will then provide a panel of arbitrators who are knowledgeable in the area of dispute and are available to serve. There are two types of Pennsylvania Request for Panel of Neutral Interest Arbitrators: the Basic RFP NIA and the Advanced RFP NIA. The Basic RFP NIA requires the parties to provide information about the dispute, the parties involved, and the desired outcome. The Advanced RFP NIA requires additional information, such as the type of dispute, the estimated time for the arbitration process, and any special considerations or requirements. The Bureau will use the information provided to identify a panel of qualified arbitrators who are able to serve in the dispute.
