Rhode Island Articles of Amendment To Articles of Organization (Domestic LLC) is a legal document that is required to make changes to the original Articles of Organization filed with the Secretary of State to establish a Domestic LLC in Rhode Island. The Articles of Amendment must include the name of the Domestic LLC, the date of the original Articles of Organization filing, the amendment(s) to the original Articles of Organization, and the signature of a member or manager of the Domestic LLC. There are two types of Rhode Island Articles of Amendment To Articles of Organization (Domestic LLC): a Change of Name Amendment and an Amendment of Other Provisions. A Change of Name Amendment is used to change the name of the Domestic LLC, while an Amendment of Other Provisions is used to make changes to any other provisions of the original Articles of Organization (e.g. change of members, change of registered agent, etc.). The Rhode Island Articles of Amendment To Articles of Organization (Domestic LLC) must be signed by a member or manager of the Domestic LLC and filed with the Secretary of State.
