South Carolina Articles of Conversion — Corporation To Nonprofit Corporation is a document used to convert a for-profit corporation into a nonprofit corporation in the state of South Carolina. This document must be filed with the Secretary of State of South Carolina in order to officially convert the corporation into a nonprofit. The Articles of Conversion must include the name of the for-profit corporation, the name of the nonprofit corporation, the address of the nonprofit corporation, the purpose(s) of the nonprofit corporation, the names and addresses of the directors of the nonprofit corporation, the name and address of the incorporated, and the date of filing.
