South Carolina Articles of Termination For Limited Liability Company (Domestic LLC) are legal documents that dissolve and terminate a limited liability company (LLC) in the state of South Carolina. The Articles of Termination document must be filed with the South Carolina Secretary of State office in order for the LLC to be officially dissolved and terminated and to remove the LLC from the business registry. The document must be signed by all members of the LLC and include the LLC's name, the names of all members, the LLC's effective date of termination, and the LLC's registered agent's name and address. Additionally, the Articles of Termination must include the LLC's filing number and the date the LLC was formed. There are two types of South Carolina Articles of Termination For Limited Liability Company (Domestic LLC): an Amended and Restated Articles of Termination, which is used to change the LLC's information without dissolving it, and a Voluntary Articles of Termination, which is used to dissolve the LLC.
