The South Carolina Confidential Reference List of Redacted Identifiers is a list of information that has been redacted from public records in order to protect the identity of individuals. This list includes but is not limited to Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account numbers, credit/debit card numbers, and any other personal identifiers. This list also includes protected health information, protected juvenile information, and confidential law enforcement records. There are two types of South Carolina Confidential Reference List of Redacted Identifiers: 1) protected health information, and 2) confidential law enforcement records. Protected health information includes any information related to the physical or mental health of an individual, such as medical records, health insurance information, and treatment history. Confidential law enforcement records are records related to criminal investigations, arrests, and convictions.
