The South Carolina Agreement For Permanent Disability Or Disfigurement Compensation is a program that provides financial assistance to individuals who have suffered a permanent disability or disfigurement due to a workplace injury or illness. The program is available to employees of any size business in South Carolina who have been injured or become ill due to workplace conditions. It provides compensation for medical bills, lost wages, and/or disfigurement. There are two types of South Carolina Agreement For Permanent Disability Or Disfigurement Compensation: permanent total disability and permanent partial disability. Permanent total disability is awarded to individuals who are unable to return to work due to their injury or illness, and it pays for all necessary medical bills, lost wages, and disfigurement.
