Retaliation complaints allege that the respondent has taken an adverse action against you because you engaged in protected activity such as filing a discrimination complaint. Hostile work environment claims allege that the respondent has created a work environment that is hostile or abusive due to the harassment of you or another employee based on a protected class. The form must be completed and submitted to the Tennessee Department of Human Rights within 180 days of the date of the alleged violation.
