The Tennessee Compensation Hearing Notice of Appeal is a legal document that is filed with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development when an individual has been denied compensation or wishes to appeal a decision of the Department. This document is used to initiate an appeal of the Department's decision to deny or reduce the individual's compensation. There are two types of Tennessee Compensation Hearing Notice of Appeal: Request for a Hearing and Request for Reconsideration. The Request for a Hearing is used when an individual wishes to present evidence in support of their claim for compensation. The Request for Reconsideration is used after a hearing has been held and the decision is not in the individual's favor. This document is used to request that the Department review the case again and potentially make a different decision.
