Texas Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcript is an official document issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) that allows an individual to pay for the transcript of their educational records. This document is issued to the school district, college, university, or other educational entity that the individual attended in order to receive their academic transcripts. The voucher must be completed, signed, and submitted to the educational entity in order for the transcript to be released. There are two types of Texas Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcript: Standard Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcript, and Special Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcript. The Standard Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcript is used for regular requests for transcripts while the Special Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcript is used for requests that require additional information or approval.
