Texas Certification of Appeal is an official document issued by a court of appeals in the state of Texas. It certifies that a particular case has been appealed and is pending before the court. The Texas Certification of Appeal is a document that is issued to the appellant, or person filing the appeal, as well as all parties involved in the appeal. It is signed by the clerk of the court of appeals and serves as proof of the appeal. There are three types of Texas Certification of Appeal: Appeal from a Final Judgment, Interlocutory Appeal, and Appeal from an Interlocutory Order. An Appeal from a Final Judgment is issued when a party disagrees with the outcome of a lower court decision and is appealing the decision to the court of appeals. An Interlocutory Appeal is issued when a party disagrees with a ruling made by the lower court but does not want to wait for the final judgment to appeal the decision. An Appeal from an Interlocutory Order is issued when a party disagrees with a non-final ruling made by the lower court and wants to appeal the decision to the court of appeals.
