The Texas Notice of Administrative Writ of Withholding is a legal document issued by the Texas child support office to employers, financial institutions, and other mayors of income when a party is delinquent in child support payments. The document orders employers or other mayors to withhold wages, benefits, or other types of income from the delinquent party and send those funds directly to the Texas child support office. There are three types of Texas Notice of Administrative Writ of Withholding: (1) Notice of Administrative Writ of Withholding for Income Earned in Texas; (2) Notice of Administrative Writ of Withholding for Income Earned Out of State; and (3) Notice of Administrative Writ of Withholding for Property Seizure. The first type of notice is used when the delinquent party is employed by a Texas business or receiving income from a source within the State of Texas. The second type of notice is used when the delinquent party is employed by a business or receiving income from a source outside the state of Texas. The third type of notice is used when the delinquent party owns property or assets which can be seized to satisfy the unpaid child support obligation.
