Texas CCC 14 — Calculations Concerning Conditions is a form that is used to calculate the amount of a child support obligation in Texas. The form, which is available on the Texas Attorney General’s website, is used to calculate support obligations when the parent's income is above the guideline amount or when the parents are not married and have joint physical custody. The form allows for calculations of basic child support obligation, medical support, daycare costs and other factors. The form includes three types of calculations: the Basic Obligation Calculation, the Income Shares Model Calculation, and the Percentage of Income Model Calculation. The Basic Obligation Calculation is used when the parents have joint physical custody and the custodial parent’s income is above the guideline amount. The Income Shares Model Calculation is used when the parents are married and the custodial parent’s income is below the guideline amount. The Percentage of Income Models Calculation is used when the parents are not married and the custodial parent’s income is below the guideline amount.
