Texas CE Automatic Fines Transmittal (AFT) is an electronic system used by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to quickly and securely process and submit Texas driver's license violations and fines. It is a secure, online, automated system for submitting traffic violations and fines to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Through AFT, traffic violations and fines are electronically received, processed, and transmitted to the DMV. Texas CE AFT is divided into two main types: 1. The Online AFT System — This system allows drivers to submit their traffic violation and fines electronically to the DMV. Drivers can enter their license, violation information, and payment information into the system. The system will then automatically calculate the fines and fees associated with the violations, and will submit the information to the DMV. 2. The Offline AFT System — This system is used by law enforcement agencies and courts to submit traffic violation and fines data to the DMV. This system allows law enforcement agencies and courts to enter traffic violation and fines data into an electronic format and then submit it to the DMV. The system will then automatically calculate the fines and fees associated with the violations, and will submit the information to the DMV.
