The Texas Request for Association Credit Accepted by TDI (TRACK) is a program administered by the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) that allows insurance agents and other insurers to earn continuing education credits by participating in qualifying professional association activities. The program is designed to provide insurance agents with an opportunity to earn credits without having to attend an in-person course or seminar. There are three types of TRACK activities: 1. Professional Association Seminars/Conferences: This type of TRACK activity allows insurance agents to earn credits by attending a seminar or conference sponsored by a professional association. 2. Professional Association Courses: This type of TRACK activity allows insurance agents to earn credits by taking a course or courses sponsored by a professional association. 3. Professional Association Designations: This type of TRACK activity allows insurance agents to earn credits by achieving a designation or certifications sponsored by a professional association. TDI requires that any activity claimed for TRACK credit must be related to an insurance topic, and must be approved by TDI. Insurance agents must submit a completed TRACK application to TDI for review and approval before any credits can be earned.
