The Texas Addendum For Sellers Disclosure of Information On Lead-Based Paint Hazards is a document that is used by sellers in the state of Texas to disclose any known lead-based paint hazards in a residential property. This addendum is required by the state of Texas in order to comply with the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead Disclosure Rule. The addendum includes information on any identified lead-based paint hazards, the presence of any lead-containing materials, and the availability of any lead hazard records or reports. There are three types of Texas Addendum For Sellers Disclosure of Information On Lead-Based Paint Hazards: the Lead-Based Paint Addendum, the Lead-Safe Renovation Addendum, and the Lead-Safe Maintenance Addendum. The Lead-Based Paint Addendum is used to disclose any known lead-based paint hazards in a residential property. The Lead-Safe Renovation Addendum is used to disclose any lead-safe renovation done in a residential property. Lastly, the Lead-Safe Maintenance Addendum is used to disclose any lead-safe maintenance that has been performed in a residential property.
