The two types of Texas Notice of Potential Entitlement to Workers' Compensation Death Benefits are Claim for Death Benefits and Dependency Benefits Claim. Claim for Death Benefits are issued to the surviving spouse, children, or other dependents of a deceased worker who were financially dependent on the worker at the time of death.
