The Texas Report of Medical Evaluation (TIME) is a medical evaluation form used by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) for applicants applying for a Texas driver’s licenseThemeME provides a comprehensive assessment of the applicant’s physical and mental health, including any medical conditions that might impair the applicant’s ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. The TIME is completed by a medical professional and submitted to the DPS to be reviewed for any medical concerns that may affect the applicant’s ability to safely and legally operate a motor vehicle. The TIME is also used by the DPS to determine if the applicant is eligible for a driver’s license or to obtain a restricted license. There are two types of Texas Report of Medical Evaluation forms: the Texas Report of Medical Evaluation (TIME) and the Texas Report of Medical Evaluation for Commercial DriverLicensorRM RMRM ECLCL). The TRME is used for applicants applying for a standard Texas driver’s license, whilthermRECCLCL is used for applicants applying for a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
