Sexual Abuse of a Minor Sexual Abuse of a Minor is the act of an adult engaging in sexual activity with a minor, defined as a person under the age of 18. This encompasses any activity that involves physical contact between an adult and a minor, or any activity that encourages the minor to engage in sexual acts. Sexual Abuse of a Minor includes unwanted touching, rape, sexual exploitation, and any other form of sexual activity without the minor's consent. It also includes exposing the minor to pornographic materials, or taking nude photographs or videos of the minor. There are different types of Sexual Abuse of a Minor, such as physical abuse which includes sexual touching, or any other type of physical contact that is sexual in nature; psychological abuse which includes verbal or emotional manipulation of the minor; and exploitation which includes indecent exposure, or forcing the minor to engage in prostitution or pornography.
