Agency-Minor Driver's Parent a Passenger (AMD PP) is a type of passenger that is used when a minor (under the age of 18) is operating a motor vehicle with the permission of an adult or agency. This type of passenger is typically used in situations where an adult or agency needs to supervise, but cannot be in the vehicle due to legal restrictions or safety concerns. There are two types of AMD PP: Passenger Accompanied by an Adult and Passenger Accompanied by an Agency. In the former, the adult is present in the vehicle and is responsible for the safety of the minor during the trip. In the latter, an agency (such as a school or law enforcement agency) is responsible for the minor's safety and is not present in the vehicle. In either case, the AMD PP must be of legal age and have the appropriate license or permit to accompany the minor driver. The AMD PP must be prepared to take control of the vehicle in an emergency and must also be prepared to intervene if the minor driver engages in unsafe behavior.
