18 U.S.C. Sec. 911 REPRESENTATION OF CITIZENSHIP OF UNITED STATES is a federal law that requires individuals to be citizens of the United States in order to be eligible to represent the United States in any capacity. This section of the US Code prohibits any individual who is not a citizen of the United States from representing the United States or a state in any foreign country, or from acting as an official or agent of the United States or any state in any foreign country. There are three types of 18 U.S.C. Sec. 911 Representation of Citizenship of the United States: 1. Representation of the United States by a non-citizen: This type of representation is prohibited by this section, as it specifically states that a non-citizen cannot represent the United States in any capacity. 2. Representation of a state by a non-citizen: This type of representation is prohibited by this section, as it specifically states that a non-citizen cannot represent a state in any foreign country. 3.
