Utah Pedestrians is a nonprofit organization that promotes the safety and well-being of walkers, runners, and other users of the road in Utah. The organization works to educate the public about pedestrian safety issues, advocate for safer streets and sidewalks, and provide resources to help pedestrians stay safe. Utah Pedestrians also works to raise awareness of pedestrian rights, and encourages people to walk and bike more often. There are three types of Utah Pedestrians: Pedestrian Safety Advocates, Pedestrian Rights Advocates, and Pedestrian Education and Outreach Coordinators. Pedestrian Safety Advocates work to educate the public about how to safely navigate streets and sidewalks, and to advocate for safer streets and sidewalks. Pedestrian Rights Advocates work to raise awareness of pedestrian rights and to advocate for the enforcement of existing laws. Pedestrian Education and Outreach Coordinators help to coordinate educational and outreach events to promote the safety of pedestrians.
