Utah Solicitation of Interest (SOI) is a process in which a business or organization actively seeks potential investors or purchasers for a specific property or project. It is used to gauge the level of interest in a certain property or project before going through the more formal process of a Request for Proposal (RFP). Utah SOI is usually conducted on a large-scale basis, often through an online platform or in some cases through a public announcement. There are two types of Utah SOI: an Open Solicitation of Interest (OSI) and a Limited Solicitation of Interest (LSI). OSI is a public process, usually conducted online, in which interested parties can submit their interest in a certain property or project. LSI is a more targeted process, in which the organization or business specifically targets certain potential investors or purchasers for the property or project.
