Utah Trademark or Service Mark Application is the application made to the Utah Division of Corporations and Commercial Code to register a trademark or service mark. The application can be used to protect a brand name, logo, slogan, or other identifying mark used in commerce in the state of Utah. There are two types of Utah Trademark or Service Mark Application: State Registration and Federal Registration. State Registration is the process of registering a trademark or service mark with the Utah Division of Corporations and Commercial Code. This type of registration provides protection of a mark within the state of Utah only. Federal Registration is the process of registering a trademark or service mark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This type of registration provides protection of a mark throughout the United States.
