The Utah Application for Authority to Transact Business for a Tribal Professional Limited Liability Company (LLC) is a document used by a tribal professional limited liability company (LLC) to register with the Utah Department of Commerce. The application must be signed by an authorized officer of the LLC and must include the following information: the name of the LLC, the mailing address, the principal office address, the general nature of the business, the duration of the company, the names and addresses of the LLC's members, the name and address of the registered agent of the LLC, the date the application is signed, and the signatures of the authorized officer. There are two types of Utah Applications for Authority to Transact Business for a Tribal Professional Limited Liability Company: the Certificate of Application and the Articles of Organization. The Certificate of Application must be filed with the Utah Department of Commerce and is used to register the LLC. The Articles of Organization must also be filed with the Utah Department of Commerce and is used to officially create the LLC.
