UCC3 Financing Statement (Utah) (Multiple UCC3Ad Financing Statement Addendums Attached) is a legal document used to perfect a security interest in personal property of a debtor located in Utah. The document is filed with the Utah Division of Corporations and Commercial Code and serves to provide notice of the secured party's interest in the debtor's personal property. The UCC3 Financing Statement includes information such as the names and addresses of the debtor and secured party, the type and quantity of collateral, and any additional terms and conditions of the agreement. In addition, multiple UCC3Ad Financing Statement Addendums may be attached to the UCC3 Financing Statement to provide additional information and detail. There are three types of UCC3 Financing Statement (Utah): the original Financing Statement, the Amendment (UCC3Am), and the Continuation (UCC3Ad). The original UCC3 Financing Statement must be filed in order to create the security interest in the debtor's personal property. The Amendment is used to modify or add to the terms of the original Financing Statement. The Continuation is used to extend the Financing Statement in order to keep the security interest valid.
